Courtney is one of the legal assistants here at Akiona Law, PLLC, as well as the new billing and account specialist. She moved to Washington from Vancouver, Canada in October of 2016, where, for 6 years, she worked as a Transcriptionist for the City of Surrey and City of Vancouver Police.

Courtney enjoys spending time with her 8 nieces and nephews, cheering on the Canucks and the Seahawks and hiking Mt. Pilchuk with her husband and dog.

Fun Fact: Courtney is fluent in “Friends” quotes and is an avid “rocker” (painting rocks and hiding them in parks and on nature trails) hoping they brighten the day of whoever finds them.

Courtney loves working in the practice area of Family Law, as it gives her the chance to help people in their time of need, which is something Courtney is passionate about.

Courtney’s client-focused qualities include a warm and friendly disposition, eagerness to jump in and handle any task given to her, and an enthusiasm for Family Law. Akiona Law is lucky to have Courtney as a team member!
