Unbundled Legal Services: Only Pay For What You Need
Divorce and other family law matters cannot be handled with a one-size-fits-all approach. Different people have different needs based on their unique situations. A younger couple who rents a home and doesn’t have kids will need very different services than a couple who has been married for decades, has minor children, and has significant assets to divide.
At Akiona Law, PLLC, in Everett, Washington, we understand this. We don’t believe you should have to pay for a full-service divorce if that’s not what you need. This is why we offer unbundled legal services — so you can pay as you go based on what you do need.
Step 1: We Determine What Services You Need Together
The first step of determining what services you will need to resolve your family law matter is to meet with our team of attorneys for an initial consultation. In your initial consultation, we will carefully review your matter to determine your options.
Step 2: Understanding Time Commitment And Financial Responsibility
Each possible resolution to your family law matter will involve varying levels of time and financial commitments on your part. We can be as involved or as uninvolved as you want.
For example, if you are going through an amicable divorce and just want to ensure your paperwork is completed properly, we can do that and nothing else. However, if you want a more hands-on approach, we can provide that as well.
We charge a flat fee for many of our services, so you can create a service package that fits your needs and your budget. In your initial consultation, we will review different pricing options for unbundled legal services to determine what best meets your needs.
Step 3: You Decide Which Option Is Right For You
Once we have laid out your possible road maps, we let you decide which you want to pursue. Our team will gladly walk you through what your responsibility would be in each scenario, so you can make an informed decision about which is right for you.
Step 4: Option To Add More
The benefit of our unbundled services is that you can decide as you go how much help you want from us and how much money you want to invest in your family law solution. Your team of lawyers at Akiona Law, PLLC, will always be available if you decide you want more help than you initially planned.
