Laura Solis

Everett, Washington

Laura is a native Spanish speaker from Northern California. She has been living in Washington since 2008. She obtained her Paralegal degree from Edmonds Community College in March, 2019. She joined our firm this year after deciding to leave the family law downtown Seattle firm where she was employed as a legal assistant for over five years. Her decision was based on working closer to home to achieve a healthy work/life balance.

Laura's free time consists of spending time with her family, volunteering at her son's school, and attending her son's baseball games. Additionally, Laura enjoys watching Mariners games, doing yoga, playing tennis, and participating in her church's events.

Fun Fact: Laura has 80 first cousins (50 on her mom's side and 30 on her dad's side).

Laura's favorite thing about working in family law is that each case is a real story and presents an opportunity to help families through an uncertain and difficult time. She works on each case as if it were her own and enjoys the challenge that each unique story brings.

Akiona Law appreciates Laura's thoughtfulness, insightfulness and attention to detail she brings to each case. We are fortunate to have an experienced and knowledgable paralegal as Laura on Team Akiona.
